Situated on the idyllic island of Sentosa, the award-winning Spa Botanica
offers the first and most luxurious spa experience set in a garden.
Embraced by nature all round, Spa Botanica is Singapore’s first garden destination spa located
on the grounds of one of the island’s top luxury resorts, The Sentosa. Guests can enjoy a day
trip here, or book a stay at the resort if they wish to extend their spa experience.
Marrying modern amenities with traditional beauty and health practices, the exclusive
spa features state-of-the-art facilities such as a steam bath and the first mud and float pools
in the region.
The winner of the ‘Best Spa Experience’ award by Singapore Tourism Board is designed
based on the concept of a botanical garden with 14 indoor treatment rooms named after
local spices and six outdoor treatment pavilions named after popular local floral blooms.
Begin your luxurious spa experience by quietening your mind with a meditative walk in
one of the two labyrinths at Spa Botanica, another first in Asia. The beautiful, individually landscaped gardens that surround the outdoor pavilions and spa gardens bathe guests in the sweet fragrance of flowers and the quiet rustle of nature’s sounds. For those who prefer more privacy, a special ladies’ only area is located within the lush gardens.
The Royal Treatment
Indoors, there are various treatment rooms to cater to the needs of couples and individuals alike. The Spa Botanica Suite is an especially luxurious treat with a private outdoor deck, spacious treatment areas and a hydro-bath while the Royal Suite features the King’s Bath, a 450 kg bath handtooled meticulously from cast bronze to retain the warmth of sensuous milk, floral or herbal bath. Each Spa Botanica treatment is carefully designed to harness and maximise the rich botanical resources of the region, such as the Singapore Flower Ritual. The spa also offers a variety of signature mud and hydrotherapy
treatments. Spa Botanica has recently augmented its repertoire of signature treatments to include the Botanica Bamboo Massage, which incorporates the use of bamboo canes to provide therapeutic deep tissue massage to improve blood circulation, lymphatic drainage, and relieve muscle tension. Another new treatment that helps to loosen stiff muscles and melt away tension is the Herbal Compress Massage, which uses herbal compress pouches filled with a secret blend of herbs and essential oils, warmed over a steamer before being calming the body with long strokes. For those who prefer a dry massage, try the Botanica Thai Energy Massage, which offers the perfect combination of Thai massage, pressure point and body stretching.
After your relaxing treatment, head to The Garden restaurant nestled next to Spa Botanica. It offers an idyllic respite where you can replenish with wholesome contemporary cuisine, some of which are familiar favourites with an innovative twist. Ingredients are specially prepared by the chefs with a gentle hand to ensure that the premium fresh produce retain its natural flavours and goodness. Vegetarian choices are also available for the health-conscious. Decked in soothing earthy hues with bold splashes of colour, the bright and airy dining space features alfresco seating by the pool for an especially tranquil ambience. As you leave this exquisite garden of indulgence, be sure to take with you Spa Botanica’s range of bath and beauty products so you can recreate the delightful spa experience at home.
