Perspectives Film Festival 2015: Breakthroughs in Cinema meditates on the bittersweet and strangely poetic nature of Transition – where characters embark on journeys that test their limits and change their lives.
This year’s lineup of seven films takes you on transitions across a spectrum of historical and cultural contexts, from drag queens crossing the Australian Outback to a Japanese grandmother seeking death.
Now in its eighth year, Perspectives Film Festival is an annual practicum course run by the Wee Kim Wee School of Communication and Information (WKWSCI), and organised by undergraduates from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
Date: 15 – 18 Oct
Venue: National Museum of Singapore
Festival passes are now sold out, but individual film passes are still available at Sistic.com.sg.
