Students develop into confident and competent global citizens through EtonHouse International School’s stimulating international programme based on researched best practice.
An International Baccalaureate World School with the EduTrust Certification, the EtonHouse International School has created a mark in Singapore as a high quality learning environment, valued by parents throughout the last 18 years since it was founded.
As a part of a close-knit international community of 48 different nationalities at EtonHouse International School, your child will be a part of a unique learning journey in a multicultural, multilingual environment.
The campus is set within a quiet residential area on Broadrick Road and has a range of facilities and learning resources to offer students an integrated and holistic learning journey in arts, physical education, music and ICT.
Along their learning journey, students are encouraged to become active, compassionate, life-long learners who seek to create a better world through intercultural understanding and respect. The programmes are academically rigorous in their learning expectations and challenge students to become responsible members of their school, local and global communities.
International Baccalaureate Programme
EtonHouse International School has been an International Baccalaureate (IB) Primary Years Programme World School since 2007, and it recently received re-authorisation. The school was also granted the EduTrust Certification, which serves to reinforce EtonHouse’s quality standards.
Catering to children from 3 to 11 years of age, the Primary Years Programme follows the IB philosophy of inquiry-based learning, which emphasises first-hand practical experiences that engage students’ magination and foster genuine understanding. As such, students are encouraged to take learning risks – to constantly explore, question and undertake new challenges.
In addition to the academic programmes, there are richly diverse co-curricular programmes complemented by high quality facilities including computer laboratory access for all, a well-stocked library, specialist art and music rooms, a large multi-purpose hall for dining and performance, a soccer field, and a multi-purpose covered games court for outdoor play.
Innovative Language Programmes
In cultivating global citizens of the future, it is important that students are exposed to cultural and linguistic diversity. To this end, Etonhouse’s curriculum features an extensive additional language programme comprised of daily classes in Mandarin, Hindi, Japanese and English as an additional language.
A truly integrated Bilingual Primary Programme has also been offered for the first time in Singapore at EtonHouse. Conducted in a dual language environment, the programme includes one expatriate and one Mandarin-speaking teacher in the classroom at all times, as research shows that students pick up a new language more effectively in a natural and contextual environment.
More than 5,000 children across 61 different nationalities are currently benefiting from EtonHouse’s pursuit of excellence and leadership in educational services and practice.
Founded in 1995 by Mrs Ng Gim Choo, EtonHouse’s impressive global footprint spans 71 International Schools
